This policy covers convoyguardian.app, the marketing website for Convoy Guardian, operated by SolTec Innovation Inc. Last updated September 1, 2026.
Nothing automatically. convoyguardian.app is a static website. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads no third-party trackers, advertising pixels, or embedded social widgets. There is no account system and nothing to log in to.
The site is served by Firebase Hosting (Google). Like any web host, it processes standard request data — IP address, user agent, requested URL, and timestamp — to deliver pages and protect against abuse. That processing is governed by Google's privacy terms for Firebase Hosting. We do not build profiles from it.
When you submit the demo request form, it is sent to our own endpoint on SolTec Innovation's Firebase project and stored there. No third-party form service is involved and your details are not passed to anyone else.
We store what you entered — typically your name, company, work email, phone number, fleet size, and notes about your convoy — together with your browser's user agent, the page you submitted from, and a one-way cryptographic hash of your IP address. The hash lets us block abuse of the form; your actual IP address is never stored and the hash cannot be turned back into it.
If our endpoint is unavailable, the form falls back to opening a pre-filled message in your own email application, addressed to contact@soltec.ca. In that case nothing is sent until you press send yourself, and you can edit or discard the message first.
Either way, we use what you send to answer you and to arrange a demo. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Business correspondence is retained in our email and CRM systems for as long as needed to serve the enquiry and meet our record-keeping obligations. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to contact@soltec.ca and we will respond within a reasonable period. Depending on where you live, applicable privacy law — including Quebec's Law 25, Canada's PIPEDA, and the GDPR — may give you additional rights, which we honour.
Convoy Guardian hardware records operational data — clearance readings, alerts, and crew acknowledgments — to an on-device blackbox log belonging to the operator who owns the kit. That data is not collected by this website and is not sent to SolTec Innovation. Handling of operational data is covered by the agreement that comes with your kit, not by this policy.
If this site starts using analytics or a hosted form service, we will update this page before doing so and change the date at the top.
